God's Offspring

"In Him we live and move and have our being. As also some of your own poets have said, 'We are His offspring.'" -Acts 17:28

My Prayer for Today
Father, I thank You that You have made me Your own son/daughter. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, born again in the Spirit, recreated in absolute perfection, built to be a child of Your very loins, and patterned to be like You in every way. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Genesis 1:26.) You are first and foremost omniscient and eternal, and infinitely higher than all. (John 8:58; Revelation 1:8.) You are forever above me, forever my superior, and forever my Lord. (Isaiah 45:22, 55:8-9.) Yet, I am born of you. You are my own Father, my love, my friend, my mentor, my Savior, and my God. (Isaiah 38:17; Proverbs 18:24.) Forever I swear allegiance to Your glorious name!

My Confession for Today
I am the offspring of God. When people see me, they see Him in me. ( John 17:21,23.) I take after Him in every way. I look like Him, talk like Him, and live like Him. My hands are wrapped within His coattails and my eyes never leave Him. When He moves, I move. What He says, I confirm. He is my greatest hero and I worship Him in every way

Decision Time

Good judgment comes from bad experience … and most of that comes from bad judgment. So then, how has your past judgement changed to make you wiser? Somehow we must learn from our experiences to propel us toward our purpose. The missteps in life always give us an opportunity to reassess and make forward "positive" progress. Hopefully you are better from your bad judgement in the past. Today is not too late to correct your path.
