He Will Prosper Your Career

We urge you…that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. –1 Thessalonians 4:10-12

My Prayer for Today

Father, help me to be industrious in Your kingdom. Help me to wade through the failures in order to obtain the blessings. Build in me a resilience that will withstand any attack the enemy brings against me. (Luke 10:19.) I know that the most successful people in the world are those who have failed the most, simply because they have done the most. May I never let obstacles or setbacks hinder me or shy me away from the prize that is set before me. (Micah 7:8; 1 Corinthians 9:24.)

My Confession for Today
I make it my heart’s ambition to live a peaceful life, no matter how many devil heads I have to stomp to attain it. (Psalm 91:13; James 4:7.) I mind my own business, attend to my own affairs and needs, and work with my own hands to build a foundation for my prosperity. (Psalm 1:1-3.) I am dependent upon no man to meet my needs. I am never found begging for money or support. (Psalm 37:25.) In this way, my life wins the respect of those who are outside of faith.

God Is Your Faithful Advocate

You are near, O LORD, and all Your commandments are truth. Concerning Your testimonies, I have known of old that You have founded them forever. Consider my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget Your law. Plead my cause and redeem me; revive me according to Your word. –Psalm 119:151-154

My Prayer for Today

Father, I thank You that You didn’t choose to dwell far off so that I would have to send my prayers to heaven or some other distant place. You chose to dwell in the closest and most intimate place possible: within my heart. (1 Corinthians 3:16.) I am now one with You and You are one with me. (John 17:21-23.) All that I do in this world I do together with You. As my loving Father, plead my cause, fight my fight, and keep me on the path of Your will. (Psalm 139:24.)

My Confession for Today

My Father considers my afflictions and delivers me according to His Word. When I speak it, life and health flood into my body. (Proverbs 4:20-22.) I remember the power of the Word. It remains in the forefront of my thoughts. God has given it to me to keep my life safe and provide healing and security for me in times of trouble. The fullness of His blessings comes to me through His Word, and His mercy toward me endures forever. (Romans 15:29; Psalm 107:1.)

Abide in His Love

As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. –John 15:9-11

My Prayer for Today

Father, show me the depths of Your love for me. Instruct me in the ways of love that I may be a reflection of Your love to a lost world. Teach me to see the world through other people’s eyes. Fill my life with the fruit of love so that Your joy may remain in me and that my joy may be full. Make love the center point of all that I do so that my faith is always aligned with Your will.

My Confession for Today

Jesus loves me in the same way that the Father loves Him. I am like a prized treasure filling His heart with joy. I abide in His love—always recognizing and remembering it in all that I do. I keep my mind focused on the best things in life. I pay attention to the Word and do all that it commands me to do. Gods joy and delight are in me, and my joy and delight are made complete in Him.

God Is Quick to Respond to You

Shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth? –Luke 18:7-8

My Prayer for Today

Father, true faith has been scarce on the earth. Too many of us have spoken out of both sides of our mouths. One minute we declare our unwavering faith and the next we agree with the circumstance. Not I, Father. I choose to believe in spite of what I see or feel. I know that You are always working with me to create the kind of life that I desire to live. (Colossians 1:29) You never fail me, Father, so train me thoroughly so that I will never fail You. (Isaiah 58:11)

My Confession for Today

My heavenly Father never neglects me. He is always with me to guide, defend, and even avenge me. (Isaiah 35:4) When I call upon Him, He answers. He takes up my cause as His own and honors my faith. I will not let Him down. When Jesus returns, He will find me living by faith in this earth.

The Word Will Not Return Void

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. –Isaiah 55:11

My Prayer for Today

Father, Your Word is faithful. Nothing that You have promised ever falls short of Your intent. All that You require is that I believe. I commit myself to this end, Father. Regardless of what my eyes see, what my body feels, or what the circumstances are showing, I believe. Your Word is my final authority. It is mine to receive and its benefits are mine to enjoy.

My Confession for Today

As rain and snow fall from heaven to water the earth and make it bring forth seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so it is with God’s Word. (Isaiah 55:10.) He has sent it to me for a purpose and it will accomplish that purpose in my life. It is continually on my lips as a seed and it brings me a perpetual harvest of good things. What a joy it is to be led forth in such peace and assurance! (Isaiah 55:12.) The mountains and the hills burst forth into song before me, and I enjoy the goodwill of all who see God’s favor in my life. (Isaiah 55:12; Proverbs 3:3-4.)

Jesus Became What You Are, that You Might Become What He Is

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. –2 Corinthians 8:9

My Prayer for Today
Father, I thank You that in Christ Jesus I have become rich beyond measure. Worldly wealth cannot be compared to the true riches of becoming one with You. (John 17:21.) I am now an heir of heaven. (Ephesians 3:6; Romans 8:17.) This very day, people who have gone there before me will walk by my heavenly mansion and know that it was built for me. (John 14:2-3.) Even in this earth I am Your covenant partner through Jesus’ blood. (Genesis 17:2-5; Ephesians 2:13-14.) I have every promise and Christ’s own anointing. (2 Corinthians 1:20; 1 John 2:20,27.) I thank You for it all, Father. Help me to live in it according to Your perfect will.

My Confession for Today
I know the grace of my Lord Jesus, that though He was rich, for my sake He became poor, so that I, through His poverty, could become rich. I am continually and abundantly supplied with all good things. (Philippians 4:19; Psalm 84:11.) By faith I receive all that I desire and more. (Hebrews 11:1; Proverbs 10:24.) My imagination paints the canvas of my future, and I do not let go of that image until I hold the reality of it in my very hands.

Your Heavenly Father Finds No Reason to Reject You

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. –John 6:37-39

My Prayer for Today

Father, I thank You for the security that I enjoy in Christ Jesus. In Him, I have eternal life and will never see destruction. (John 3:15-16.) I have Your promise that You will find no reason to cast me from Your presence. None of my security is placed in my own power. All of it, first to last, is placed in the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit. (1 John 1:7; Revelation 12:7; Ephesians 1:13.) Worry for my future has become a thing of the past. I can now live freely, by faith, and receive every blessing that You so desire to give. (John 8:36; Psalm 68:19.)

My Confession for Today
My heavenly Father has entrusted my eternal security to Jesus. I have turned to Him and pledged my endless devotion. (Romans 10:9.) He has given me His Word that He will find absolutely no reason to reject me. I have come to Him and have given Him my life, so from now on I don’t need to fear. This is the Father’s will: that I should never be lost again. I have been given new life and shall be raised up on the last day.(2 Corinthians 5:17.)

ALS - Ice Bucket Challenge

You Are the Friend of God

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. –John 15:13-15

My Prayer for Today
Father, I thank You that I am no longer a servant, but a son/daughter. You have brought me into Your family. I am now Your own child with gifts and talents that are precious to the kingdom. Show me what You want me to do today, Father. Reveal to me the path where my talent is most needed so that Your kingdom can advance in the way that You have intended.

My Confession for Today
There is no greater love in existence than the love that Jesus has for me. I am one of His close friends. I listen for His instruction and do all that He commands me to do. He reveals to me His intimate secrets and makes me a vital part of His plans and purposes. It wasn’t me who chose Him, but He chose me. ( John 15:16.) Before the beginning of time, He picked me to be His friend and brother/sister. (Ephesians 4:1; Romans 8:29.) I am now one with Him in Spirit and through Him I bear an abundance of lasting and eternal fruit. ( John 17:21.)

God Never Lets Go of Your Hand

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. –Psalm 139:7-10

My Prayer for Today

Father, Your mercy and grace make Your omnipresence a comfort. You are never harsh with me nor do You look for reasons to condemn me. No matter where I am or what I am doing,
You always see what is best in me. (1 Corinthians 13:7) I can always count on You to encourage, strengthen, and assist me through the many storms of this life. When I am in the worst of conditions, You never let go of my hand. (Isaiah 41:13.) I never have to worry or hide my face from You. Your unconditional love always leads me on to victory. (1 Corinthians 15:57.)

My Confession for Today

My Father is with me wherever I go. (Joshua 1:9.) Whether I rise on the wings of the dawn or settle at the far side of the sea, God is there to guide me—His right hand holds me securely and His love bolsters my confidence in my success. (Jeremiah 31:3.)

Be The Best You

Mistakes!!

Keep Moving Forward

Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” And the LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.” –Exodus 14:13-15

My Prayer for Today
Father, I thank You for being my partner in life. Your desire is that I become a part of what You are doing. I will not be the fool who sits around expecting miracles when You have already given me the power to get the job done. I will move forward in faith and purpose with signs and wonders accompanying me as I go. (Romans 8:37; Mark 16:20.) I have Your unfailing promise that You will never leave me nor forsake me. (Hebrews 13:5.) You fight for me and ensure my victory no matter what the odds or the enemy.

My Confession for Today
I am fearless in the face of danger. I stand firm and confident under God’s powerful hand. He works for me to produce a mighty salvation. I am still and at peace for I know that God, my heavenly Father, the Creator of the universe, loves me and fights on my behalf. (Psalm 46:10; Isaiah 40:28.) Therefore, I will not allow fear to hold me back, but will go forward and complete the task I am given.

His Power Works in You Mightily

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. –Colossians 1:27-29

My Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for revealing to me the power by which I can live a godly life. There is but one source of true riches and that is Christ in me. He is my strength and my salvation. In Him I live and move and have my being. (Acts 17:28.) He is my everlasting security and the very entrance to the provision of heaven. As He is in You, I am in Him, and we three are one. (John 17:21.) In all of my labor I strive according to His working which works in me mightily.

My Confession for Today

I proclaim the mystery that was hidden throughout the ages, but has now been made known to me. The riches of the glory of God are within me in Christ Jesus. All that I need to produce the life of my dreams is within me at this very moment. I take hold of that image within me, believe it with all of my heart, and speak it forth with power and purpose. To this end I labor, striving with all of His power and ability that so effectively works within me.

You Can Claim Unlimited Benefits

You Can Claim Unlimited Benefits

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. –Psalm 103:2-5

My Prayer for Today
Father, I thank You for being who You are. You are not the god of man-made religion. You do not think like men or require what they require. (Isaiah 55:9.) When they twist Your Word to meet their own ends, I have Your Spirit within me to keep me on track. (Ezekiel 36:27.) You are the God who blesses His children. You satisfy my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s. You forgive all my sins. You heal all of my diseases and redeem my life from destruction. You are so good to me, Father. Help me to live like You, be like You, love like You, and bless like You.

My Confession for Today

I praise the name of the Lord out of the depths of my soul. With all that is in me I bless His holy name. (Psalm 103:1.) I call to mind all that God has done for me, all that He has for me, and all that He is doing in my life. He has forgiven my sins and healed me of every possible disease. He has redeemed my life from destruction and has crowned me with His love and compassion. He satisfies my every desire with good things so that my youth is renewed within me, that I may soar into this life like an eagle on the wing.

No Reset Button!!

Jesus Is Your Substitute and Great High Priest

Jesus Is Your Substitute and Great High Priest

Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. –Hebrews 9:11-12

My Prayer for Today

Father, I acknowledge that my salvation and redemption are eternal. Jesus entered the Most Holy Place once and for all on my behalf. He does not have to do it again and again. My sin has been eradicated by His blood, and I am now secure for all of eternity. His holiness is now my holiness and His works are now my works. All that He is and all that He has are now mine to claim. (Galatians 3:29.) I thank You for this wonderful truth, Father. Help me to live my life honoring such mercy and grace.

My Confession for Today

Jesus is my faithful and loving high priest. He went through the better and more perfect tabernacle in heaven on my behalf, carrying His own blood to secure my eternal redemption. This satisfied the claim that justice had on me. I am now completely acquitted of all charges. I am free! (Galatians 5:1.) Through Jesus’ wonderful deed of love, He sealed for all time my rights and position as a child of God. (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30.)

You Are Not Saved by Works, but Works Are Good and Profitable to You

You Are Not Saved by Works,
but Works Are Good and Profitable to You

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to [God our Savior’s love and] mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life…these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. –Titus 3:5-8

My Prayer for Today
Father, it is You who set in motion the salvation that I now enjoy. All-knowing, You saw what I’d be from the start to the finish of my life. You chose me, set me apart, and caused me to be a recipient of Your covenant. (Psalm 139:16.) I’m Your child and heir. I stand in Your mercy and grace. Teach me to use them as a springboard, not a crutch. I am not saved by works of righteousness, but help me to produce them in abundance.

My Confession for Today
When the kindness and love of God appeared, He saved me, not because of any righteous works that I had done, but because He loves me so much that all He could think about was how to grant me His mercy. I have been born into the family of God. I am not what I once was, but an entirely new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17.) So having been justified by God’s grace, I have become an heir with the assurance of eternal life. He is now my partner in all things and through Him I produce an abundance of good and profitable fruit.
